Find the words wasting your Google Ads budget.

Drop in a search terms report. TermSweep splits every search into 1, 2 and 3-word n-grams, adds up cost and conversions for each, and hands you a negative keyword list you can paste straight into Google Ads. It doesn't need a Google login or any access to your account.

Waste means spend on n-grams with zero conversions, or a CPA far above your account's. As a guardrail, any n-gram carrying over 10% of total spend is marked "review" and never auto-suggested. Confidence is how sure we can be, from its clicks and spend, that a theme's CPA is beyond your CPA limit (or, for growth ideas, better than average). Below the line it's marked "too early" instead of suggested.

Client audit report

A one-page PDF showing the waste and the fix, ready to send to a client or prospect.

Free reports carry a small "Made with TermSweep" line. Pro reports are white-label.

Savings are estimates: this period's spend on the theme, scaled to 30 days. Campaign-only negatives are themes that convert in one campaign but waste money in another, so block them only where they waste.

Free covers reports up to 300 search terms; Pro shows everything for any size, with exports.

Check against your account (optional, recommended): skips negatives you already have and warns before blocking your own keywords

Saved in this browser only, so next month's run remembers them.

Check every suggestion before adding it. A word that wastes money in one campaign can sell in another, so use the campaign filter above.

Why n-grams?

One word, hundreds of searches

"free" might show up in 300 different searches that each spent $4. You'd never notice them one at a time, but together that's $1,200. N-grams surface it.

Private by design

No OAuth and no access to your Google account. The CSV is parsed by JavaScript on this page and nothing is uploaded, which makes it safe for client accounts and agencies.

Paste-ready negatives

Get phrase, exact or broad match lists, or a Google Ads Editor CSV with campaign names filled in. You can protect brand words so they're never suggested.

Safe negatives

Paste your keywords and existing negatives. TermSweep skips what you already block and warns before a negative would cut off a keyword you bid on.

Client-ready audit PDF

Turn the analysis into a one-page waste audit for a client or prospect, with your agency name on it.

Built-in guardrails

Words that carry a big share of spend are marked for review instead of blocked, so you can't accidentally switch off your main traffic.

Questions

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and analysed by JavaScript in this tab and never sent to a server. You can turn off your Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.

Which report do I need?

In Google Ads go to Insights & reports, then Search terms. Pick a date range (90 days is a good start), click Download and choose CSV. Columns for Search term, Clicks, Cost and Conversions are needed. Impressions, Campaign and Conv. value are used if they're there.

How is this different from Google's own recommendations?

Google shows search terms one at a time. TermSweep adds up every word across all of them, so small leaks that repeat across hundreds of searches become visible.

Why not just paste the report into ChatGPT?

You can, but you'd be sending client search data to a third party, and you get a different answer each time. TermSweep keeps the file on your computer, uses the same thresholds every month, never suggests words carrying a big share of spend, and exports straight to Google Ads Editor. Chat tools can also truncate or sample large reports, while TermSweep counts every row.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. You pay $19 once and it's unlocked on this browser. If you switch browsers, reply to your receipt email and we'll send you an unlock link for it.

Refunds?

If it doesn't help you, reply to your receipt email within 14 days for a full refund.
